Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post

Color syntax for file extension .hh

Hello,

Atmel studio 6.1
AfAS 1305.21

I am not able to have correct color syntax for file extension .hh.

I need this because I use an external library call COSA which is great by the way you should take a look http://cosa-arduino.blogspot.fr/.

As it is in C++, all the header files have the .hh extension.

I try to add it in Tool>Options>Text Editor>File extension but Microsoft Visual C++ is not present in the drop box.

A little help would be appreciated.

I am surprised that Atmel Studio does not support this file type and as you rightly note Atmel Studio does not provide the same UI config options that are available in VS

I have sent you an email with an unofficial way to make this work

1/ I don't see color coding in both type of project

Intellisense worked but not color syntax

I did the trick but right still no color coding.

Is there another way ?
Why is it working with ino and pde ?
Can it be added in a future version of AfVS ?
