This is the installation.
Computer: Lenovo W520 Laptop work station
OS: Windows 7 Pro SP1
VS: 2008
Arduino 1.0.5

I'm working a project that I was using Arduino 1.0.2 on.
I will not usually change compiler in the mist of a project unless I think there is an issues with the compiler.
I was think there was a issue with memory but now that I have run the 1.0.5 and the results are the same I will have to look deeper.
Notwithstanding this is about my beta of 1.1305.21.

1. I found that I still had to remove the “Robot” libraries to get 1.0.5 to compile the code.
2. VS2008 start page “Recent Projects” will not log the Arduino projects.
     This is really annoying more than anything.   Embarrassed

I'm going to roll back to 1.1305.9.1 and Arduino 1.0.4 for now

Keep up the good work!

I'm using version Arduino for Visual Studio and Atmel Studio (1305.21) with Arduino 1.0.4, 1.0.2, and the modification Chip 45 Crimdunio 128 of the Arduino, everything works well.

Hi,

1)
Thanks for the feed back. Yes there are a few posts about removing the two Robot_Control and Robot_Motor libraries. This is why 1.0.4 is recommended but otherwise 1.0.5 should be fine.

The Arduino Robot is not widely available yet but this issue will be fixed in the next release. Hopefully not to much of a problem anyway.

2)
It's difficult in VS to get files into the recent list when opened automatically. We are working on our own "Recent" list instead.

In the meantime a few tips:

You can open the solution, the project or even a pde/ino using the standard Visual Studio menus instead of "File>Open>Arduino Project". Doing so will  ensure the recent list is updated.

Notice also that you can "Open Containing Folder" on the editor tabs and with right click in the solution explorer. This is an easy way to find full folder paths when required.

3)

Please explain the difference between 1.1305.9 and 1.1305.21, I don't understand???

Thanks again

Hi,

I depend on recent-projects heavily and dragged it to the VS2008 menu via;

Tools->Customize->File->Recent Projects List

I then changed it to have a Text-Only setting which made the menu its normal height again.
