Registration key issues

Hello

On my first attempt trying Visual Micro with Visual Studio 2010 was not going well, I was not sure if I needed to buy a Licence so I got one and made no difference. I then installed Visual Micro on another PC and then tried the key and it said it was already used (something like that).

Anyway I uninstalled and installed VS 2010 and Atmel Studio, did the updates etc (took a while) and now its seems to behave as espected.

Now my question is, when I enter the registration key you see the progress bar move around and then all of a sudden Visual Studio just shuts down, then same appens to Atmel Studio..... so any clues what I can do ?

BTW I emailed you about some of these issues so disregard those emails (I was not sure how to contact you).

Hi Peter,

We did receive an email from you but it just contained "Test" in the body but it is better to post on the forum thanks.

A couple of other users reported this problem and it was found to be caused by the windows event log being switched off on the PC.

We have prevented the crash in the next release but for now please enable windows event logging

Thanks
