Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Micro Boards are not detected

Hi,

my problem is, that after installation, the Board are not detected. Also the TOOLS-> Visual Micro-> Programmers option is disable.

When I check this options in the arduino application, everything is available.

I am using:

Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2012
Version 11.0.50727.1 RTMREL
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 4.5.50938

and

VM Version 1.1309.11

Everything runs on a Virtual Windows 7 Ultimate, which is executer on a Apple Maverick with VM Ware Fusion.


I tried to change the directory of the arduino Software and even with a folk reinstallation. 

Does somebody have any ideas, what else I can do?

Hi,

Sorry you are having this problem. There are a few things to check

1) Is your ide location for the correct version of the Arduino Ide? What version are you using? Which option did you select in Visual Micro? (Arduino 1.?.?)

2) The location you have specified for the Arduino should not be surrounded with quote marks ""

3) If 1) and 2) look okay to you please close the Ide and install this version of Visual Micro which will shortly be the recommended release anyway https://visualmicro.codeplex.com/releases/view/117112

Thanks a lot for the really fast answer.

You are my hero for the day!!!!Thanks a lot!!!!

I am using Arduino 1.0.5 and I tried to setup the location in 1.5.x

Now everything seems to working.
