Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

I am having the same problem.  But the t is capitalized in atmel so the error message says "Unable to create Arduino Project for ATmel studio".

I went to the registry and it only has 2 items: Default and Arduino 1.5.x Application.  Do you want me to send you a screenshot also?

How do I do this?  Is there a path option in the file menu of Atmel Studio?  Where can I remove the path?

Hi,

I have split this question into a new thread because the thread you selected already had an answer the user was satisfied with and your questions are in some cases slightly different. It's always okay to create a new thread and prevents users who have an answer from receiving emails.

Let's just check your setup using Visual Micro.

This is the setup guide from visualmicro.com. It shows how to alter the Arduino location and also the sketchbook folder.

Please report what paths you have entered into the application configuration window (if any)

I figured it out:

- Goto configuration manager 
>> Change to Arduino 1.5.x 
>> Change folder path to C:\Arduino\arduino-1.5.5 

- when IDE starts, select a board

Wow I feel like a total noob.  Thanks!

Sounds like the upgrade from a pre-sept 2013 version of Visual Micro doesn't set the board correctly which isn't right.

What version of Visual Micro were you using previously? Do you know approx when you installed the previous version? Thanks

Visual Micro version: 1.1401.26

When installed: Today through Atmel Studio not through website

It doesn't matter where you install from it is the same.

Sorry my question is what version of Visual Micro were you using previously?

I ask because I am trying to work out why you had to enter the Arduino location. I thought you were already using Visual Micro previous to the 1401.26 release and that you would have already configured the location of Arduino?
