Hi,

In Arduino the user libraries can be located in a "libraries" folder below the "Sketch Book Folder"

This folder is configured in the Arduino Ide preferences or in Visual Micro

To configure the SketchBook folder in Visual Micro please follow the first steps guide

The default SketchBook should be c:\my documents\arduino" which means the user libraries can be located where you have specified.

The documentation on visualmicro.com shows how to confirm that the libraries are available and also how to add a  library to a project. Please do use the search on visualmicro.com to discover this information. Here is an example of the documentation for adding libraries to a sketch project.
