Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Serial Monitor Options Button is missing

Hi,
I am trying out Visual Micro with my VS2013 Ultimate and Duemilanove. It appears everything is working with my installation, except the Serial Monitor Options button is missing from the Serial Monitor window. I can compile, upload, and debug a sketch. I can see the expressions window and the trace messages, but I cannot find the Options button, so I have no way of changing settings like message windows, etc. The area next to the text input box in the Serial Monitor simply does not show any buttons. I am running this on Windows 8.1 and I have VS2013 Update 2.

I think I root-caused my issue. I am using a Surface Pro 2, which defaults the desktop scaling to 150%. When I reduce the desktop scaling the buttons begin to appear. This workaround is sufficient for me, but perhaps this can be better addressed Visual Micro directly?

Thanks that's useful. I was about to ask for an image so I could see the difference.
