Hi,
i try to install Atmel VS/Arduino Visual Micro for EtherDue and Sketch 1.5.7, I followed http://www.visualmicro.com/page/User-Guide.aspx?doc=Create-New-project.html,
one difference I found so far is that under 'Installed templates'
I have C/C++ -> Visual Micro instead of:
C/C++ -> Arduino Boards
                Atmel Boards
                User Boards
                Visual Micro

For some reason Arduino Boards, Atmel  Boards and User Boards templates are not installed.

Details: MS Vista Business, 32 bit,

http://www.visualmicro.com/page/User-Guide.aspx?doc=Create-New-project.html
Atmel Studio 6 (Version: 6.2.1153 - )
© 2014 Atmel Corp.

Will you please help.
Regards

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. The images in our documentation is of Atmel Studio 6.1. The folders you mention were some older entries that came standard with Atmel Studio but were of no use to Arduino users and in 6.2 have been removed by Atmel Corp.

You only need the two entries, either blank sketch from the top level of the sketch with cpp example from the Visual Micro branch.

All sketches can use cpp files so even if you start with a blank sketch you can later right click the project and "add>new cpp item"

I hope this makes sense, we will update the image in the documentation which is now confusing

Visual Micro allows you to change the Arduino board for the project at any time using the tool bar, so an empty project, an existing Arduino project or an Arduino example project can become whatever you need. It is also possible to create your own "new project" or "new item" templates from favorite code

Thanks for the report
