I'm a student and I want to evaluate this addin but, after installation, there isn't any hardware board in a drop-down. In the output window there is:"Object reference not set to an instance of an object.Intellisense was unable to establish any hardware (boards). Please configure the ide locations."
I configure correctly the Arduino installation path.

SO : Win 8.1
Arduino: 1.0.6 (work correctly)

Help me please.
Thanks

Hi

In Visual Micro, what is the name of the ide application that you picked when you configured the 1.0.6 location?

Arduino 1.0.x or 1.5.x?

Thanks

Okay that is the problem.

You are still using the 1.0.x system which is what 1.0.6 is.

The 1.5.x system is for the arduino beta releases which started with 1.5.0 and will shortly be released out of beta as 1.6.0.

Don't shoot me they are not my choice of version numbers  Smiley
