I just purchased the gold version; when I try to upload Blink I get the above message.  Com3 is checked; mega 2560 board;  I haven't a clue why it doesn't work

Well I got the upload to work!  But now I can't get it to break on a breakpoint.

Hi Jerry,

This normally means you have a "When Hit" entry for the breakpoint? The system will break if you untick the "Continue Execution" checkbox on the "When Hit" breakpoint property

Take a look lower down on the the documentation index page of visualmicro.com. There are some useful debugger overviews.

Thanks
