Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Reference section missing after upgrade in Platform Explorer section

I recently (yesterday) upgraded to IDE 1.6 and Visual Micro 1502.14.  All is well except for one exception.  Under tools, Visual Micro (Arduino 1.6), Platform Explorer, the reference information is missing.  The tab is there and all other information is there but no reference data.  See screen shot attachment.  I am sure it was there before the upgrade.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting.

Actually the Arduino 1.6 option was not there before the last version release. Instead you would have used the Arduino 1.5 option (see combo at the top of your image)

This is a bug in the new release when using Arduino 1.6. Arduino have moved the reference files from "arduinoide\reference" to "arduinoide\reference\arduino.cc\en".

Prior to the next release of visual micro you can copy the files in "en" to "reference" and re-start visual micro or use windows explorer to view the files.
