Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Intellisense was unable to establish any hardware (boards). Please configure the ide locations.

hi,

I am facing "Intellisense was unable to establish any hardware (boards). Please configure the ide locations." error. I installed visual micro yesterday on VS2013 community edition, aurdino 1.6.2. Also I am unable to select any boards from the toolbar. Do note the Aurdino IDE path is as instructed. 
Kindly let me know how to correct this error Or if I am missing something.
Do let me know if any/more information is required.

news 29th march 2015 - visual micro does not yet support Arduino 1.6.2. You can download Arduino 1.6.1 or earlier from here
