Hello, i'm using VM to program an Attiny85 with an arduino as ISP but every time i'm trying to compile the code im getting this error:

Quote:

Uploading to I/O board using 'COM3'
Upload failed. Did you select the correct upload method for this board?
System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary.
   at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key)
at processing.app.debug.AvrdudeUploader.uploadUsingPreferences(String buildPath, String className, Boolean verbose, Boolean ProgrammerUploadUsing, String mcuProgrammerOverrideName)
   at processing.app.SketchEditor.Upload(Boolean verbose)

Any ideas on why its caused and how to fix it?

(The custom hardware works on the normal IDE)

I think you will find that is fixed in the latest release candidate. Available on the downloads page

EDIT: But we are investigating one last issue in this area so if it doesn't work check the new releases over the next day or so. Thanks
