Prevent included library from compiling

I included a library in a project using the library import tool. The library is specific for ATTiny85 but the code also runs on an Arduino UNO by substituting a similar library using #if directives.

However, even though references to the ATTiny library and headers files have been conditionally removed, VisualMicro still tries to compile the library which fails for the UNO platform.

How do I make sure that a library is not compiled in the background? Also, if I decide to remove a library from a project, how do I go about that?

Cheers,
Brendan

Hi,

You remove a library by removing the #include

I think that the Arduino ide also compiles libraries regardless of their conditional include?

Thanks
