Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

problems compiling (Arduino UNO VS2015)

Hi,

I installed VS2015 and added the Visual Micro plugin.
I was able to do some testing using my Arduino as ISP and programming an ATTINY85. Works like a charm...

Now I'm back at my Arduino. Whenever I try to upload a sketch to my arduino the upload fails. When I try to upload using the Arduino IDE using the exact same settings (Board, Port and Programmer) it works fine.

Hi,

In the arduino ide you used "upload using programmer" with the tiny and just "upload" with the uno?

You have selected the avrisp mkII as the programmer.

If you want standard upload not using a programmer then un-tick the "always upload using programmer" option. It's a menu item and a button on the tool bar.
