Hello,

I am wanting to switch from Atmel studio to Visual studio and I am not sure what I need exactly. Will Visual Micro work with any of the free version of VS? Sorry if this a dumb question.

Charlie

Hi,

You just need Visual Studio 2015 Community and to ensure you tick C++ in the customer setup during install.

Please see the downloads page on visualmicro.com for links and more info.

Once VS is installed you can install Visual Micro from Tools>Extensions and Updates>Online

Hi

Thanks. I wasn't sure I needed to buy something else.

Regards
