Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Project compile on Arduino IDE but not on VM

Hello,

I'm a new user of VM.
I can compile and upload sketches but I have some issue with a project I downloaded : http://www.reseau.org/arduinorc/index.php?n=Main.Downloads

I can open and compile this project with Arduino IDE 1.0.5.
But with VM it does not compile. Last message is :
Error creating .elf

You can find attached screenshot of complete output windows and also errors and warnings (sorry for french UI but I can't switch it to english)

I have absolutely no idea what goes wrong, could you please help me ?

Hi,

I just built the arduinotx project for the leonardo with Visual Micro. I tested with 1.0.6, 1.0.5-r2.

So I need to see the verbose output from a full build. switch on "tools>options>visual micro>compiler>show build properties" and "verbose messages". Then click "build>clean solution". Then click "build"

Thanks for helping

I tried to install Visual Micro and Arduino IDE 1.0.5 on another computer running VS 2015 and I can compile.
But I still can't figure out what is wrong on first computer.

Hi,

Can you please switch on "tools>options>visual micro>compiler>show build properties"

Then click Build>Clean and then Build.

Post or email the output as text and not a picture Smiley
