Visual studio won't start upload

I have problem with uploading sketch to arduino board (Mega2560R3). I started new project, no coding.. When I click to button Build and Upload or press F5, sketch will compile correctly, but not upload won't start. Last line in console is "Minimum Memory Usage: 371 bytes (5% of a 8192 byte maximum)". After this, upload should start.. Uploading from arduino IDE is fully functional. I deleted options from registry, reinstall extension, but with no success Sad
Any suggestions?

Thanks..

I'm still seeing this problem. Version 1604.9.0 from Visual Studio Gallery?

I'm running Visual Studio Community edition on Windows 10 with Arduino 1.6.8. Upload to an Arduino Nano works fine with the Arduino IDE but I don't seem to get anything, even error messages, from Visual Micro?

Hi, sorry about the hassle.

It sounds like the update hasn't been applied to your machine.

Can you please confirm that tools>extensions and updates show visual micro in the installed list with 1604.9 version number?

And also confirm the path in "tools>options>visual micro>version>assembly" contains updated dlls. The path shows where the extension is installed.

If was a really simply fix, an OK flag not being returned from the compile so I wouldn't expect the issue to continue.

Thankls

Update sorted it for me too, thanks.

I had clicked on the install button on the Visual Studio Gallery and assumed (dangerous word) that this would have overwritten the installed version.

As per your suggestion, checked the version in Visual Studio and it was the old version, hit update and am back in action.

Thanks for the pointers and thanks for what looks to be a great product.
