Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

It does not start upload to board

Suddenly it stopt starting the upload to the board. It even doesn't try to start an upload.
Does not matter if selecting OTA or serial. Same with Uno and ESP8266 Sketches.

"Build an upload" from the Visual Micro menu, F5, whatever - all the same.

The last lines are always:
Program size: 405.142 bytes (used 39% of a 1.044.464 byte maximum) (2,41 secs)
Minimum Memory Usage: 52488 bytes (64% of a 81920 byte maximum)

Version is 1.1603.20 on VS2015 Professional
Until yesterday it worked without any problems. This morning I got an update and this problem.

What I tried until now:
I copied an older version back to my system -> upload starts
Uninstalled Visual Micro and reinstalled it -> upload does not start.
Once again copied older version to my system -> upload starts

Any idea why it does not work with the latest version?

I have the same problem. Last version I used was v1.1601.30. After upgrading this morning to the latest version, upload does not work anymore. Tested it with ESP8266 and Teensy3.1.

It seems like F5 and F7 (or hitting the Build and Upload button) are the same. I am using USB for both.

Really sorry. There is new update in the gallery with a fix.

Better error handling wasn't so much better  Angry
