Version 1604.17.0 Serial monitor on high DPI monitor issue

Hello again Smiley

I am here to give feedback on the serial monitor with the latest version 1604.17.0.

You can see below what I get on my 3200x1800 monitor.

I can say that the serial monitor in the version just before this, 1604.12, was looking good. The one with checkboxes had everything (that I could see)  displaying without being cut-off.
I would like to add that the new toggle buttons are just a bit iffy to determine whether ON or OFF. The 1px-ish border is not easy to make out for my eyes. For example, the RTS button above has a border on all four sides, and kinda looks like it's ON.

PS: I was on the fence about going pro with this software due to the DPI issues (I only have this laptop at the moment), but it's clear there is an active dedication to development, and so many features... My money will be well spent. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback it's appreciated. 1604.18 has been published with some minor changes that might help.

I just found a comment on stack exchange about the RenderMode property of the ToolStrip component. I hadn't noticed it before and have now set it to "System". This gives much clearer checked states (see below).

I am not sure why the combo boxes at the bottom of the window are bunched up for you. They are set to between 75 and 90 pixels for 96 dpi render so yours should be larger. I have made their default width a little wider and also changed the toolstip so it sizes to the elements instead of full width. I am keen to see a screen shot with the new release thanks.

You should see overflow menus if the window doesn't have enough space.

This is how the controls should look when the window is wide enough. Also shows the new logging options
