Atmel Studio 6.2, no Visual micro extensions present

Installed a fresh install of Atmel Studio 6.2.
Selected Tools - Extension Manager and download and installed Arduino IDE with no errors.
Afterwards, there is no obvious mention of Arduino within Atmel Studio, and the configuration Manager doesn't appear on first run after that.
Visual Micro is present in Add/Remove programs.
There is no capability of creating a new Arduino project.
Basically looks as though the Arduino extensions aren't present.
Windows 7.
Any thoughts?

Hi,

We moved from the older add-in used by AS6.2 to the new extension format used by Visual Studio 2015 in part to avoid this type of permissions related install issue.

If you want to persist with the older system you can read the vs2010/AS6.2 section of the FAQ which should provide the  solution.

http://www.visualmicro.com/page/User-Guide.aspx?doc=Frequently-Asked-Questions.h...

I recommend VS2015 because it is more up to date and has more features.

Found an older query elsewhere on the forum with the solution regarding addin/macro security so seems to be installed ok now.

Thanks
