Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Install fails for June 2018 version

Tried updating to the latest version. It failed, so I un-installed it, and re-installed it. Still fails. Log file attached.

The VSIX extensions are just zip files which Visual Micro has no control over.

I suggest trying a repair on your VS

Despite the fail message, it appears to work (it built an Arduino sketch ok)

Great thanks. If you do have issues in the future then run the VS repair because the vsixinstaller.exe is part of VS
