Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Upload using programmer from Arduino IDE

Hello. Firstly sorry for my english. I search on the Internet but I cant`t find the solution. I`m using Atmega8, USBasp and Arduino IDE. Normally if I program Arduino I use Atmel Studio with Visual Micro, but I can`t find "Upload using programmer" in Visual Micro. 
Is this option available at all or can not I see it?

I apologize if the subject was already discussed, but with my English I could not find it

On the vmcro>uploader menu is ability to select a programmer (there is also a programmer toolbar that you can show)

The uploader menu/bar also has an option to "always use programmer for upload". Check this option then all normal upload commands and shotcuts use programmer instead of serial/bootloader.

This avoids the need for a separate "upload using programmer" command

Thank you very much for your answer. I put a drop down list from which I can choose a programmer, but can I do something to make two buttons next to each other. One for normal uploading by the bootloader in arduino, and the other for uploading by the programmer.

Just right click a blank toolbar area and switch on the Micro Programmer tool bar.
