Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Awesome.  You are correct.  I've successfully broken Intellisense on my other machine lol.  This is a good thing because now I can stop chasing settings issues in my visual studio.  You mentioned clang and gcc and I've noticed that mentioned throughout the ArduinoJson library.  I think we may be on to something

The library works okay for other boards. Did you try it without the .hpp #include?

I did.  It made no difference.  When you say other boards, do you mean ESP32 boards?

No, other non-esp boards. So the issue is some combination of vs/esp and json lib. We will try to look at it over the comming weeks.
