Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

How to specify font for Terminal (serial console)?

How do I specify the font for the Terminal (serial monitor)? 

Specifically I'd like to reduce the size considerably.

There's a setting in Tools\Options\Visual Micro\General\Communications -> Terminal Font, but it's just a text field, and nothing I've tried putting in there changes it.

This should be a button "Terminal Font" on the bottom right of the Serial Monitor Window when it is wide enough, which will be on a popup menu on the bottom right ">>" if the window is too narrow.

This will pop up the font settings window when pressed with all standard font/size/style settings.
