ESP32 V2.0.6 not found

After help with my last program during trial phase I could get my sketch running.

Now I purchased a licence and would get it to be compiled on a second computer. On that I have had already installed Arduno 1.8, now added Arduino 2.0.

Unfortunately I cannot find ESP32 V2.0.6 in the board manager, only up to 1.0.6 are listed. The url of the Espressif library is added in the ide locations dialog. A view in the json file of that url shows, there is V.2.0.6 incuded.

What am I missing to have this version inthe board manager?

So I've got it, using the Arduino IDE to install V2.0.6

Is there an explanation how to do it with VM only?

The docs show how to install platforms via the Platform Explorer > Board Manager

https://www.visualmicro.com/page/User-Guide.aspx?doc=index

The board manager is similar to the one in the Arduino IDE. You can use either the Arduino IDE or Visual Micro to install boards. The result is the same.
