I am getting these errors: "0 Protypes Discovered" ... "No such file or directory" but the file(s) and directory exist.  I've turned off intermediate directory and all other such options as found in this forum's posts.

If I delete the solution and project files, use the new arduino project option in vs2022, the code will compile the first time.  Once saved, it reverts back to this error.  Rebuilding solutions/projects/toolchain does nothing to help.

As background, I was using these same files for over a year, under visual micro and studio 2019. but when windows crashed and I rebuilt with VS2022 and upgraded visual micro to the latest version.  I have had these error ever since.

I only use "release" mode, not debug.   

This code compiles fine in the arduino environment, same files, same location.  The file paths look correct.  I have attached the build file.

To finalise this topic, no there is no "sketchbook" folder in other locations.   

However, in the same way that this error appeared, it has disappeared.  So it is compiling. Everything exactly the same, not even one setting altered since posting.  I have saved a working output file to compare to the failed file if the error reoccurs.
