Unable to Debug or Compile

Install of VM looks good in Explorer. VM tool bar good. Can set breakpoints. But no compile icons and debug options grayed out. Seems like IDE doesn't find compiler though the 'Configure Path for VM shows correct location(C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Arduino) for ver1.6/1.8.   Ver2.0 when selected doesn't have text box for compiler path, but is located at D:\Arduino

Can you attach a screenshot of the Compile and Debug options greyed out so we can understand the issue better?

Can you also confirm if you have you activated the trial, or a full license??

I have successfully integrated it into VS2022, but never got a message or email to activate it. Where is that? Screen shot of pulldowm menu attached.

You are currently using the File>Open>Folder system in Visual Studio. Please use the normal solution based system.

Use "File>Open>Arduino Project" to open existing code for the first time. That will create a solution for you

If you have not activated the software, you should see a menu item below the board options on the vMicro Menu e.g. "Trial Mode: Click here to Buy a Visual Micro License", and clicking that will open the activation screen.
