IS Arduino Giga supported by Atmel V7

I have just hooked up an Arduino Giga, I see its supported by VisualMicro and I have switched the board to it, but within Atmel Studio I can't see how to change the current board, which is set at ATMega 2560 to the new Giga. Any ideas?

Visual Micro will support the board within the Arduino Framework in both Atmel Studio and Visual Studio, in the same way the Arduino IDE does.

Atmel Studio 7 may not support this board fully like a SAM or AVR device, the MCU on this board is an STM chip which is unlikely to be added to AS7 to our understanding as it is not made by Atmel.

It would be best to check with their team about the full AS7 support on their forum.
