No build or compile option after reopening project

Hi,

I'm quite new to Microchip Studio and I am using it to program the ATSAMD21G18A chip. I used the Arduino IDE before but I switched to Microchip Studio for hardware debugging, and everyone else uses it in my workspace.

The issue that I'm having is, is that build and compile options are only available when I create a new project. When I try to load a project in (File -> Open -> Arduino Project OR VisualMicro -> Open Existing Arduino Project), it seems that VisualMicro doesn't recognize that I loaded in an Arduino Project.

I don't like having to keep recreating the project, am I doing something wrong with the loading?

Thanks in advance

Can you confirm which version of Visual Micro you are running from Tools > Extensions and Updates > Installed, the version number will be shown on the right hand side when the "Arduino IDE for Microchip Studio" is selected.

When you open the project are you selecting the INO file or the ATSLN file?

Also is the ATSLN file in the same folder as the INO/CPPPROJ file, or in a parent folder above?
