COM port keeps changing

I often program several boards from the same project in Visual studio - for example when I make a batch of a particular product. Most of my projects are based on the Adafruit 'feather m0'. When I disconnect one board and connect another the com port changes. Is there any way to prevent this and make use of a single com port ?

From your report you will need to disable the below option:
vMicro > General > Auto Select Board/Port When a Device Connects
