Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

Slow forum response

In the last (quite a few now..) months the VM forum seems very slow to respond.
Have you included Google analytics or something? 

I see it waiting a lot of time for google.es (bottom left of browser window)

I´ve tried different machines and browsers but all the same.

In the browser dev tools/Network I get a message:

YaBB.pl?board=ArduinoVisualStudio10:80 
GET https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js net::ERR_ADDRESS_INVALID

Ignore my first response. Thanks for the info we will look into it.

We did update security of the server which required a newer version of the forum software we use.

I did a bit of testing, I have the google analytics set to 0.0.0.0 in my hosts file so I re-enabled it but it didn´t make any difference so it isn´t that.

It seems it´s something deeper in the Yabb code. 
Typically to view a post it takes around 11.7 seconds (from the waterfall in network from developer tools). The vast majority of the time (over 11 seconds) is waiting for server response.

My forum uses Perl 5.026003, YaBB 2.6.0
As far as I´m aware it is not on azure but I don´t know the full infrastructure of the hosting company (heartinternet).
