Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

My config has the optional sketchbook location:
D:\Visual Studio Arduino

So, under that folder I have
D:\Visual Studio Arduino\libraries
D:\Visual Studio Arduino\hardware

Would be cleaner if those folders sat in a sub-folder, i.e.
D:\Visual Studio Arduino\_system\libraries
D:\Visual Studio Arduino\_system\hardware

Instead of mixed in with all my projects.

The Sketchbook\libraries and Sketchbook\hardware folders are structured this way to maintain compatibility with the Arduino IDE's specification.

There are alternative options in Visual Micro as shown on the below page for libraries, and we also support the "portable" option within a solution, for Arduino 1x and 2x:
