Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
 
Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

My first journey into vMicro

I've installed VS Community ald the vMicro extension. Following the tutorial, I selected the board, the when opening the vMicro Explorer, I get the error shown in the screenshot

If you are not using arduino 1x ide then drop the list down at the top of you acreen shot and set it to either arduino 2 or visual micro.

If you are using the arduino ide then show a screen shot of the IDE locations dialog open. It will be an incorrect path.
