Before logging an issue, please update to the latest release of Visual Micro from the Downloads Page.

When Logging a Support Issue in the Forum, please ensure you have also:-

  • Enabled vMicro > Compiler > Show Build Properties
  • Re-Compile your program with these settings enabled
  		Save the new Output to a Text File and....
  • Click the Reply button and attach as .txt file OR
  • Click here to Email us with the file attached, and a link to your post
Support requests without the output above may be impossible to answer, so please help us to help you

"Upload Last Build" function does not open serial monitor after upload

The "Auto Open Serial Monitor" option works (opens the serial monitor) when the Build and Upload function is used.

However, that option does NOT work (does not open the serial monitor) when the "Upload Last Build" function is used.

I don't know if this a bug or the lack of a feature but it seems to me that with the "Auto Open Serial Monitor" option turned on, either type of upload should automatically open the serial monitor.  

If it is a bug, please fix.  If it is the lack of a feature, please add the feature.
